Clothing and purchases
Any clothing, accessories or other items recommended during styling services are optional.
You are under no obligation to purchase any recommended item.
Where purchases are made directly from a retailer, the retailer’s own terms, returns and refund policies will apply.
AJ HARLEY is not responsible for changes in stock availability, pricing, retailer policies, delivery delays or product defects.
Personal shopping
Where AJ HARLEY researches or recommends items in advance, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Items may sell out, change price or become unavailable before purchase.
Where AJ HARLEY accompanies you shopping, the cost of any purchases remains your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Travel
Services are primarily offered in London, England, and may be available elsewhere by agreement.
Where travel outside the agreed service area is required, additional travel time and reasonable travel costs may be charged.
Any such costs will be discussed in advance wherever possible.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide as much notice as possible.
Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling or deposit terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
Where AJ HARLEY needs to cancel or reschedule a session, reasonable efforts will be made to offer an alternative date.
Late arrival
If you arrive late to a session, the session may still need to finish at the originally scheduled time.
Where possible, AJ HARLEY will try to accommodate reasonable delays, but additional time cannot be guaranteed.
Results and recommendations
Styling and image consulting are highly personal services.
Recommendations are based on the information shared, the agreed brief, professional judgement and the client’s preferences at the time.
AJ HARLEY cannot guarantee any specific personal, professional, social or commercial outcome resulting from styling services.
Colour analysis
Colour analysis is intended to provide styling guidance.
Results may be influenced by factors including lighting, hair colour, makeup, tanning, cosmetic changes and other aspects of appearance.
Recommendations should therefore be treated as guidance rather than absolute rules.
Measurements and fit
Where measurements, fit assessments or silhouette recommendations are provided, they are intended to support styling and shopping decisions.
Retail sizing varies significantly between brands, so no guarantee can be made that a particular labelled size will fit consistently across retailers.
Photography and content
Photographs may be taken during some styling sessions for practical purposes, including documenting outfits, wardrobe combinations or styling recommendations.
AJ HARLEY will not use identifiable client images publicly for marketing, social media, website content or promotional purposes without appropriate permission.
Where permission is granted, the agreed scope of use will apply.
